1. Turn Camera on its side on a smooth soft surface.

2. Remove only the outer 6 metric screws holding the front tripod plate adapter.

3. After removing front plate also remove the 3/8 adapter insert nut in the middle of the plate with a flat head screw driver .

4. Remove the (6) new (longer) 4mm x 16 Metric screws from plastic bag and install the TeePOD Attachment plate to the bottom of the Camera. Sandwich the TeePOD plate between the old tripod attachment plate and the Camera. Screw all 6 metric screws partially into Camera before tightening down. This will insure that you do not strip the screw holes in the Camera.

The holes on the TeePOD plate are larger for easier installation.

5. Remove U-shaped, chrome, back plate by removing it's two screws. Sandwich the small, black, plastic spacer piece and the ( 2 ) New 2.5 x 16mm screws between the rear plate you removed, and the chrome, back plate. Screw both metric screws partially into Camera before tightening down completely.

6. Put all original screws, spacers and pads in plastic bag to use in the future if upgrading to new equipment.

7. Make sure all screws are tight.

8. Attach the Camera to the tripod to make sure all screws are positioned properly. A common problem is not removing the 3/8 insert screw, so be sure this is done. Set the camera in the plate and push forward, rock back into shoe and lock red button. The first few times may seem difficult but you will quickly learn the correct positioning. If your camera attaches and detaches easily, you have installed the plate correctly.
